Building work has started on a pioneering new office concept for small businesses in Leeds.

Construction work on the new Business Living offices has started on a two acre site at Millshaw by Leeds based GMI Construction Group.

The £5m Millshaw office park is the first development by Business Living, a subsidiary of Evans Property Group, Leeds, to start on site, although others in York, Chester and Doncaster are expected to start this Spring.

Business Living, aimed at small business and investors, will comprise seven two-storey units between 1,00 sq ft and 6,100 sq ft in a landscaped setting and offices will be available from April when construction is completed.

Business Living aims to create a new commercial property niche market by providing high-specification offices which cater for the growing preference amongst small businesses for obtaining commercial property freehold.
