BREEAM Rated

British Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) is used to assess the environmental performance of new buildings. It is regarded throughout the property world as the measure of best practice in environmental design and management.

The assessment covers a wide spectrum of environmental issues and presents the results comprehensively and clearly. These issues include:

Management policy
Energy use
Health and well-being
Pollution
Transport
Land use
Ecology
Materials
Water

Credits are awarded according to performance and these are added together to produce an ultimate score. At Business Living we consider all environmental issues at the earliest opportunity to maximise our chances of achieving the BREEAM rating.
